STICTLY WAREHOUSE VIBES
The first new material from brothomstates since the unbeatable 'rktik' 12" on arcola in 2004! Finland is a country that has taken the world by storm recently what with the represses of classic sahko back catalogue taking hold of dancefloors and the forest folk of fonal records taking the hearts and minds of the home listeners, all eyes are suddenly facing toward this small, cold country to the north of life as we know it. Now two of finland's best electronic producers; the hugely underrated lassi nikko aka brothomstates, known for his work on warp and arcola and of course for that sprite advert, and juho hietala aka blamstrain have teamed up to produce a truly devastating ep. Probably the most anticipated twelve on narita so far, the two producers have gone for a strictly warehouse vibe, with the a side "envolope diving 2" taking 11 minutes to illustrate what can be achieved with minimal beats and dark, dubby pads.
The b side tracks are far more blatant with 'ketku' reaching euphoric heights, complete with a cutting percussive underlay destined to lay waste to clubs from london to berlin. The record is rounded off by 'metadata' a jacking slice of minimal acid house ready for the post 3am sessions of wasted abandon. Killer material.
