1. We will travel locally in the West Midlands to buy collections
around 1,000 units, anywhere in the UK for collections over 2,000 units
and anywhere in the World for collections over 10,000 units. For smaller
collections we ask you to bring them directly to our Birmingham store or post them directly to us.
2. If we can agree a deal over the phone we will send our own Van and fully insured buying team to you at a time and date of your convenience to pay and collect. We have been buying second hand record collections for almost 20 years and promise you a stress free service.
3. The 'Vinyl We Want' section is there for your benefit. Check if you have any of these records we require as you may be able to get a higher price for specific records from your collection.
4. To maximise the amount we will pay for your collection please ensure that it is as presentable as possible ie, ensure that records are in their correct sleeves, all price labels have been removed and the vinyl is in good clean condition.
5. If you wish to travel to our store to have your collection valued, please contact us first so we can allocate the correct buyer to greet you. If we agree to purchase your collection you will be paid immediately.
6. Try to avoid bringing along your collection to us on a Saturday as this is our busiest store day and will therefore usually take considerably more time to process.
7. We don't just purchase dance music collections, we are also very interested in Soundtracks, 70's & 80's, Disco, Soul, Pop and Rock Music as long as it's on Vinyl or CD.
8. We have successfully been buying record collections since 1991 and we will always make you a fair offer and promise to take care of everything for you, even if that means us having to unload 10,000 records from your loft or down 10 flights of stairs.
9. We will pay for your collection via a HTFR company cheque or bank transfer in any currency. You may also obtain a higher value for your records by accepting HTFR store credit which can be used to purchase anything we sell including DJ and Music equipment, eg swap your old records for new ones.
