• What is Market Value and how will it be calculated?

  Market value prices are determined by our team of expert vinyl buyers, they take into account the age, condition, popularity & stock level of each item and then price it accordingly. It will typically be £0.05 per item.

  
  

• What happens if I do not agree to the Market Value of my records?

  Any items you wish to have returned must have the postage paid for by yourself before we send them back.

  
  

• How do I pack my items?

  When packing the item please take care and ensure that the items are packed well. If you have a large amount of vinyl we strongly recommend that the maximum number of vinyl's per box is kept to 100, this will ensure safe transit and also keep your vinyl in good condition. Bubble wrap or old newspaper is a great way to fill up the empty space in any package sent to us, if you leave the items in the box loose there could be a chance of damage or warping of vinyl. We can not be held responsible for any items that are damaged in transit so please make sure this part of the process is adhered to.

  
  

• Do I get the postage cost back for shipping the items to Hard To Find?

  All postage costs are down to the customer and are not refunded by Hard To Find. The cheapest way to send items to us is via Royal mail or courier firm (DPD / UPS) etc etc. You can also drop your boxed items along to us in Birmingham, please contact buying@htfr.com to arrange details for booking an appointment & location details.

  
  

• How long does the process take after Hard To Find have received my items?

  As soon as your items have been processed you will receive an email confirmation letting you know the total amount and that your payment is on its way to you. Please allow 7 working days from posting your items for payment to reach you, this is due to high volumes of stock.

  
  

• How do I get paid for my items?

  All payments are maybe by company cheque.

  
  

• Do all my items need to be in the correct sleeve / cases?

  Yes all items must come in the original sleeves / cases and be in perfect condition. Any damaged items will result in a penalty change being made against the final order total.

  
  

  Please be aware that we do not purchase any counterfeit or bootleg records or CDs.

  
  

• What is the minimum / maximum amounts I can sell?

  Due to administration costs involved the smallest collections we can purchase are 20 items or more or the total value is £20.00 or more.

  
  

  We will accept any size collection. If you feel that your collection of vinyl or CDs is too large to use this site, we can still accommodate your needs. Please call email our buying team on buying@htfr.com
