The vrx records in real time from any external sound source fed through either a power amp or mixer, cutting onto special vestax vinyl blanks at speeds of 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. Each of the blank records has a record time of up to 15 minutes for multi-track cuttings or lengthy mixes. The resultant vinyl record is considerably more durable than any acetate or dubplate, not only will last as long as your average vinyl record, it can handle intense scratching, just like a commercially produced record. You can even play the resultant pressing back via the onboard a.s.t.s. Tone-arm. The vrx has professional monitoring to aid the user in the production of fine recordings, an on-board eq section with gain boost or limiter means the optimum sound level can be achieved immediately before the cutting process. Included in the package is 10 vinyl records and 3 premium quality sapphire cutting head (stylus), more than enough for relatively large scale cutting of personal recordings, and to create an almost instant library of unique vinyl records.
