As you'd expect from a manufacturer with the prestige of cerwin vega, this amplifier brings it all, style, power and more than enough features to ensure your music sounds pure, even at it's highest capable level. As well as classic cerwin vega styling, the 19" rack mountable cv2800 holds a whole host of protection mechanisms such as short circuit protection, thermal protection and turn on/turn off muting to avoid amplifier thumps from damaging your speakers when powering on or off. Independent limiters on each channel give a soft clipping effect, which helps to eliminate distortion at high levels. A low-frequency filter removes rumble and subsonic frequencies, which cause a muddy sound. Connectivity is in the form of xlr and ¼" jack inputs and speakon and binding post outputs and can therefore be accommodated in any pa set-up. Cerwin vega refer to themselves as a "loud!" speaker company, and amplifiers of this standard, at this price, brings that sentiment to any dj or pa user.
