Beyond just listening to your mp3s, the Pacemaker allows you to mix your digital music collection with a touch sensitive interface and a colour display. The device features 2 independent channels - essentially 2 decks - and a mixer. The multi-functional touch sensitive jog gives control over track selection, pitch adjustment, 3 band eq control and control of the onboard effects. A touch sensitive crossfader allows you to blend between tracks and monitor with headphones, and traditional dj play/cue, fast forward and reverse buttons give cd deck-style functionality. With the Pacemaker you can loop tracks and apply the built-in effects, which include a filter and crush distortion, as well as beat-synch effects such as echo, delay, transform or roll. The detailed, high-resolution colour display shows all your track info, just like a personal mp3 player, but it also provides bpm counts, pitch information and vu level meters. Just like a traditional dj mixer, the Pacemaker has an output for your headphones and an output for a master signal - so you can dj with it in a club, just as easy as you could on the train, on the beach or in your very own living room. It plays mp3, mp3 vbr, m4a (aac-lc), aiff, flac, wav, Ogg Vorbis and snd file formats, for almost universal music compatibility, and it this htfr exclusive 120gb version can hold around 24,000 mp3s @ 5mb each! Included in this exclusive 120gb gift-boxed edition is an exclusive 'fast charger' dc adapter which gives up to 5 hours of dj playback or 18 hours of music playback from a single charge. It also includes usb adapter to transfer music to or from the device, and leads for integration into an audio system, amplifier, dj mixer or computer soundcard and it ships with editor software for pre-preparing your audio and transferring mix data to your computer or other Pacemakers.
