Korg's zero 4 is an all-in-one "core station" designed for dj performance, remix producers, and serious computer musicians. The zero 4 provides a digital mixer, audio interface, midi controller, and effect processor all in a single unit. Each channel can be switched between sources such as a turntable, cd player, microphone, computer, instrument, midi controller, or midi controller + audio to implement a sophisticated live mixing set-up with the simplicity of a firewire connection. Designed for high-quality digital and analogue audio it supports 24-bit 48 khz high-resolution audio as standard, and can support up to 24-bit 192 khz equivalent to dvd audio fidelity. Featuring a variety eq's, with eleven different simulation types, the zero can sonically perform just how you want it to. The zero 4 also makes use of a firewire interface that lets you process and mix audio sources digitally, at the same time as performing midi control. Incorporating software or midi instruments and applications into a live mix with turntables and cd's has never been easier and the zero4 can do it all at the same time! Also featured are incredilbe effects and a loop sampler that can synchronise to the bpm of your audio & midi. This makes it easy to sample or play back loops (or one-shot samples) in perfect time with the current tempo, giving you the flexibility for complex mixes or dub mixing. The midi control interface is also customisable to how you want it, by use of the included editing software the zero will respond how you want. Since each channel of the mixer can be assigned to different functions, you can be mixing the audio from your computer with one channel while adjusting midi parameters with another. Despite its complexity and amazing capabilities, korg have maintained a level of simplicity to the zero4 that keeps it well within reach of any dj wanting to bring the best of digital music, software and production to traditional analogue djing. As a further bonus, the zero4 is traktor scratch certified, meaning that by an additional software upgrade, the zero4 can be used as a native instrument traktor scratch interface with no additional hardware required. Each Zero 4 also includes Traktor Scratch Pro demo & limited edition 7" time code vinyl!
