The 1601 is a purpose-built digital mixer, hand-engineered in the uk by professional audio technicians at soundcraft, for the ultimate in mixer quality and sound. A digital mixer ergonomically designed to complement scratch djs and turntablists, enabling them to maximise their creative potential. Packed with unique features such as the hi-pass filter to instantly and effectively remove turntable rumble and feedback that may arise from bass heavy performance or poor connections. Also incorporated is an aural exciter to boost those tightly pressed vinyls and to accentuate your scratches significantly. Built to survive hours of practise with fully replaceable faders and knobs and reverse / curve adjust on all faders. The 1601 is a two channel battle mixer that equally suits smooth club style mixing with clean, open fader section for quick manoeuvres, 360 degree customizable phono line switches, crossfader monitor selector, backlit headphone out with eq, ultra clear input and output level monitoring leds, full cut hi, mid, low eq rotary pots and a superb flexible send and return fx loop with pre / post fader and return channel assign, the 1601 is a very versatile and customizable performance mixer complete with the legendary urei sound quality. Finished with non-wear anodised top plate and striking red, white and blue monitor leds, the urei 1601 is nothing short of formidable in every way a mixer could be.
